Getting Started & Quotes
Send the basics through our quote form — your location, roughly what you want, and any logo or artwork — or call (512) 621-8822. Photos of the install site help a lot. We come back with options, itemized pricing, and a timeline, usually the same business day.
It depends on size, materials, lighting, and installation complexity, which is why we quote every project individually. As rough guidance: printed yard signs and banners run tens to a few hundred dollars; dimensional lobby signs typically land in the hundreds to low thousands; illuminated channel letters and monument signs are typically several thousand installed. Your estimate itemizes design, fabrication, permits, and install — no surprises at invoice time.
Yes. Design consultations and quotes are free, including an on-site survey when the project needs one. You'll see a mockup of the sign on your building before you commit.
Approved artwork, a signed proposal, and the deposit. If you lease your space, we'll also want your landlord's sign criteria early — it shapes what we design. We handle everything else, including permits.
Design & Permits
Yes. Our in-house designers work from a blank page or refresh your existing brand artwork. Every proposal includes a design consultation and a mockup of the sign in place, and we revise until you sign off.
Most permanent exterior signs inside Austin city limits need a permit before installation — wall signs, channel letters, monument and pylon signs, and anything illuminated. Interior signs and routine maintenance generally don't. We handle the permit research, drawings, filing, and reviewer comments as part of the project. Our Austin Sign Permit Guide covers the whole process.
Every Central Texas city writes its own sign ordinance — Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Kyle, and San Marcos each set their own size limits, height caps, and review steps. We permit in all of them and design to the local code from the start.
If you lease, usually yes — most commercial landlords publish sign criteria covering size, placement, and lighting. Send us the signage exhibit from your lease and we'll design within it, or we'll talk to the property manager for you.
Production & Installation
Most projects run 2–4 weeks from approved artwork to installation. Printed items can be ready in days; illuminated or engineered signs take longer because of permits and fabrication. You get a firm timeline with your quote, and we build the city's permit review window into it.
Our own licensed, insured crews install everything we build, including electrical hookups for illuminated signs and the final inspection. One team from design to install means no finger-pointing if anything needs adjusting.
Often, yes — banners, yard signs, decals, and most printing can turn around in days, and we'll tell you honestly when a deadline isn't achievable. Call (512) 621-8822 with your date and we'll work backward from it.
Yes. We remove existing signage, patch and seal the mounting surface, and haul the old sign away as part of the installation. If the old cabinet or letters are serviceable, we'll tell you — sometimes a re-face beats a replacement.
Materials, ADA & Durability
We spec for it: UV-stable inks and laminates for the Texas sun, wind-rated mounting for exposed sites, and marine-grade hardware where needed. Exterior work is warrantied, and we service what we sell.
ADA signs are tactile signs with raised characters and Grade 2 Braille that identify rooms and guide people with visual impairments. Most commercial buildings in Texas need them — restrooms, exits, stairwells, and permanent rooms — built to the Texas Accessibility Standards, which the state enforces through plan review on many projects. We produce fully compliant tactile signage and can audit your existing building.
Yes — we work from your Pantone values, hex codes, or existing artwork and proof against calibrated output, so the installed sign matches the rest of your brand, not just approximates it.
Yes. We retrofit, re-face, re-light, and repair signs across Central Texas, including signs we didn't originally build. An LED retrofit or new faces often delivers a like-new look for a fraction of replacement cost.
Printing Services
Yes — digital for fast turnaround and smaller runs, offset for large quantities where unit cost matters. We'll recommend whichever fits your budget, quality needs, and deadline.
PDF, AI, PSD, PNG, and high-resolution JPG. Vector art (PDF/AI) prints sharpest at any size. If your files need cleanup or you only have a low-resolution logo, our designers can rebuild it.
Yes — unit pricing drops meaningfully at volume for business cards, postcards, brochures, and most printed products. Tell us the quantity you're considering and we'll quote a couple of tiers so you can see the break points.
Yes — we print direct-mail postcards and mailers, including oversized formats that stand out in a mailbox. Ask about targeting options when you request your quote.
